It started with a real-world challenge faced by our founders in their own business: a family entertainment center. Managing a large, non-desk-based workforce came with a never-ending list of daily, weekly, and monthly tasks — from opening and cleaning checklists to equipment maintenance and compliance procedures.

As the business expanded, so did the complexity of managing staff, ensuring accountability, and maintaining operational consistency across multiple locations.

The goal was simple: step back from daily management while ensuring strong staff accountability, task completion, and adherence to health and safety standards.

After searching for an operations system that could streamline these processes, the founders realized no existing solution met their needs — so they built their own. The first version of the platform digitized processes, simplified internal communication, and made it easy to create instructional videos and training guides.

As the platform evolved, it became indispensable — not just for their own business, but for other multi-unit operators facing the same struggles: ensuring consistency across locations, improving management visibility, eliminating paper-based inefficiencies, and reducing app fatigue by consolidating operations into one seamless system.

Paul Constantinou AM

Paul Constantinou AM is a distinguished Australian entrepreneur and hospitality industry leader, best known for founding Quest Apartment Hotels in 1988. His journey began in his family’s fish shop, where he developed a strong work ethic and business acumen. After starting his career in accounting, Constantinou transitioned to hospitality, managing motels and restaurants across Victoria. Recognizing a gap in the market for extended-stay business travelers, he established the first Quest property, Quest Royal Gardens, in Fitzroy, Melbourne.

Under his leadership, Quest expanded to over 170 properties across Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and the United Kingdom, becoming Australasia’s largest serviced apartment group. Constantinou’s innovative franchise model empowered individuals to own and operate their businesses, fostering a culture of entrepreneurship within the company.

In 2021, after 33 years at the helm, Constantinou stepped down as Chairman following The Ascott Limited’s acquisition of the remaining equity in Quest. His commitment to excellence and community service has been recognized with numerous accolades, including induction into the Franchise Council of Australia Hall of Fame and being appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM).
